PC Press has just published its third book, titled No Cameras, about Atlanta’s legendary Clermont Lounge. The project began while designer Ryan Wood was still a student at Portfolio Center. He enlisted the help of a friend, PC graduate Artem Nazarov, to shoot the photography. The two worked closely in collaboration with Atlanta writer Dana Hazels Seith, to create a coffee table book that celebrates the lounge’s unique history and infamy. Filled with rich and provocative imagery and sprinkled with insights from patrons (including Anthony Bourdain and Margaret Cho) and from the dancers, themselves, the book is an inside look at “Atlanta’s Oldest Gentlemen’s Club.” No Cameras will be available on Amazon, beginning January 29, 2014. All profits go to the Portfolio Center Scholarship Fund. Order now.
